Brand Refresh & Packaging Updates

Creative Direction & Digital Design

A LOT OF YEARS AND A WHOLE LOTTA OF WEED.

Over five years at GRAV, I grew from Senior Graphic Designer to Creative Director, ultimately helping shape the brand's visual direction across campaigns, packaging, partnerships, retail, events and digital. I led creative initiatives from concept through execution—directing photography, overseeing packaging systems, collaborating with external partners and translating the evolving brand across every major consumer touchpoint.

Over five and a half years at GRAV, I created a little bit of everything—eventually growing from Senior Graphic Designer into Creative Director and leading the brand’s visual direction. Here’s a collection of some of my favorite things I designed, directed, built, and helped bring to life along the way.

  • Campaign + Digital — Email, SMS, social, paid media, and launch creative

  • Brand Collaborations — Custom creative for LRG, DGK, PLEASURES, G PEN, CANNABOX, ~Pourri, Crisp & Crude, RESTART CBD, and more

  • Art + Creative Direction — Concepting and directing campaign photography and video, including on-set styling and shot direction

  • Packaging — Designed packaging as Senior Graphic Designer before transitioning into leading packaging direction and initiatives as Creative Director

  • Brand Evolution — Helped lead GRAV’s brand refresh alongside an agency partner and translated the updated identity across packaging and brand touchpoints

  • Merch + Objects — Apparel, totes, bandanas, rolling trays, sticker packs, promotional pieces, and plenty of other weird little things

  • Image Making — Photography, photo manipulation, collage, and experimental visual work

  • Experiential + Sales — Led the redesign of GRAV’s trade show presence and created custom pitch decks for retailers, partners, collaborations, and events

As Creative Director at GRAV, I led the visual direction for product launches, brand campaigns, collaborations, and photography—shaping each project from initial concept through final execution. I worked closely with photographers, designers, and production teams to develop moodboards, define the visual approach, and plan each shoot, while providing hands-on art direction on set across styling, talent, props, composition, and product placement to ensure we captured every asset needed to bring the campaign to life across digital, social, retail, and e-commerce.

Throughout my time at GRAV, I often stepped behind the camera when the project called for it—quickly developing an eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling. Working with limited budgets taught me to be resourceful, turning found locations, natural light, and everyday props into intentional brand imagery. Whether capturing products, lifestyle moments, or quick-turn content, photography became another tool in my creative toolkit—and made me a stronger Art Director in the process.
